Why Float the Rio Grande with SpiritFly?

Floating the Rio Grande should feel effortless — calm water, cottonwood-lined banks, and the quiet rhythm of the river carrying you downstream. At SpiritFly, we’ve refined this experience beyond the typical kayak rental.

Every rental includes shuttle service, so you won’t need to coordinate vehicles or worry about transportation logistics. Park at the take-out, and we’ll drive you upriver; your float naturally returns you to your car.

We also provide premium fishing kayaks rather than standard recreational models. These boats are more stable, track straighter, and offer a smoother ride, giving you greater comfort and confidence on the water.

It’s a simple difference and one you’ll feel the entire float.

✅ Shuttle Pickup: Meet at the Alameda Bridge Take-Out (that’s where you’ll park)
✅ Launch Spot: We’ll drive you upriver to Siphon Beach in Corrales.

🚐 Shuttle seats are limited to 3 paddlers max.

If you have more than 3 participants, you'll need to arrange a second vehicle at the launch site.

Children under 10 years old and dogs float free as long as you're comfortable having them share your kayak.
